Zeus & Hera, English Mastiff littermates, present our 2008 Split Rock Vineyard Chardonnay. Our 2008 Chardonnay is rich and elegant with a creamy butterscotch finish and very lightly touched by oak.

Split Rock Vineyard, located on the Sonoma Coast, provides afternoon sun with cool evening sea breezes and foggy mornings that allows the fruit to develop great flavors. This is our first year producing wine from this vineyard and we are happy with the results. The color of the wine is beautiful bright straw color. An initial taste of roasted cashews, vanilla and slight pear flavors with a finish of crème brulee with a kiss of toasted oak.
